INSTALL

  • Mac OSX: Drag the 'Source-Elements Desktop' application to your Applications Folder.
  • Windows XP: Double click on the Source-Elements Desktop.exe application and run the installer.

     

    USING SOURCE-CONNECT AND SOURCE-LIVE VST PLUG-INS WITH DESKTOP

    To use Source-Connect or Source-Live you will also need to download and install these VST plug-ins separately. Note that an iLok is required.

     

    COMPATIBILITY

    Mac OSX
  • G5 and Mac Intel computers only, with at least 1.5mb RAM.
    This application is not officially supported for G4 computers.
    • Supported configurations
  • G5/Mac Intel, 1.5GB RAM, OSX 10.4 or 10.5.
    This application is compatible with Leopard (OSX 10.5).

    Windows XP
  • Windows XP and Windows 7 32bit support only.
    This application is not Vista or Windows 7 64bit compatible.
    • Supported configurations
  • Windows XP: 2Ghz PC or higher, 1.5GB RAM.
    DirectSound/ASIO soundcards
    • Note: This application requires a modern computer and plenty of RAM to use with both Source-Connect and Source-Live simultaneously.


    KNOWN ISSUES

    On some Windows systems the graphic interface may show up completely white. You will need to download and install QuickTime from Apple.
